The issue of Internet Copyright is a wide and murky area of intellectual property. It is becoming more significant everyday as more and more individuals gain access to the Internet. The Internet is a complex and interesting thing whose very origins define a unique nature effecting copyright law regarding the Internet. Furthermore individuals on the Internet often see their copying and transmission of copyrighted materials as an ethical and accepted behavior. With such shady lines of what is and what is not ethical it is not only imperative to define what is legal and what is not but to show the arguments both for and against increasing copyright restrictions on the Internet.
